Privacy
The short version: we only keep what Seerlock needs to work, your email stays private, and we never sell anything about you.
๐ฆ What we keep
- Your email and password. The password is stored hashed, so nobody can read it, us included.
- Your username, when you joined, the title you wear, and your profile photo if you add one. We shrink photos and remove hidden details, like where they were taken, before saving them.
- What you post and do here: theories, polls, comments, votes, poll picks, trivia answers, wishes and reports.
- When you agreed to the House rules.
๐ What others can see
Your username, photo, title, the month you joined, your badges and everything you post. Votes and reports only ever show up as totals, never with your name. Your email is never shown to anyone.
โ๏ธ Emails
We only email you about your account: your sign-up code and password reset codes. They're sent through Resend, our email service. No newsletters, no spam.
๐ช Cookies
Only the ones the site needs: one keeps you signed in, and one keeps forms safe from misuse. No ads and no tracking cookies. Our fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google can see that your browser asked for them.
๐ Support payments
If you chip in on the Support page, the payment happens on PayPal. We never see your card or bank details.
๐ Your choices
You can change your username, photo and title on your profile at any time. To get a copy of your data, or to have your account and everything in it deleted, message us on X at @projectseerlock and we'll sort it out.
Seerlock is for people aged 18 and over.
